Obituary notes for Dorothy J Moshinsky
Dorothy J. Mollan, 84, of Lansdale and formerly of Hatfield, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Sikorski, who died in 1970, and the late Herbert J. Mollan, who died in 2004.

Born October 11, 1931 in Port Carbon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (Ryndock) Moshinsky.

Dot was employed as a bus driver with North Penn School District for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Hatfield Women’s Civic Club for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends, especially her many grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Diane Carlo (Francis) of Farmingdale, NJ, Shelley Sikorski-Griffith (Bradley) of Thornton, CO, Dorothy Shockley (William) of Newtown, and Joseph W. Sikorski (Kathryn) of Lansdale; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her step-daughter, Eileen Leo (Wayne) of Harleysville; a brother, Robert Moshinsky (Barbara) of Sewell, NJ; and sister-in-law, Margaret Moshinsky of Lansdale.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Moshinsky; and step-daughter, Doreen Deery.

Relatives and friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. A second visitation will begin 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 22 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
