26 Jan 1925: Cora Eby Michael, 46 years of age, died suddenly at her home, at 817 Broad Street, on Sunday morning, after being stricken with an attack of apoplexy. Up until the time of her death, she had been in fine health, going about her daily routine and gave no signs of even feeling slightly ill. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, where she took an active part in religious work and several societies of the church. For many years she has resided in that section and was well known by many neighbors who highly respected the deceased. Surviving are the following children: David S., of New Jersey; Edward C., of Lebanon; William A., of Lancaster; Norman J., of Shippensburg; Herman H., of Altoona; Clarence W., of Annville Township, and Mary Anna, of Chambersburg. Four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Hershberger, of Lebanon; Mrs. Leah Daniels, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Alice Ward, of Philadelphia, and Miss Edith Eby, of Philadelphia, and one brother, Henry Eby, of Lebanon. 29 Jan 1925: Services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock for the late Cora Eby Michael, at the Arnold & Son funeral parlors, South Ninth Street, in charge of Rev. Martin, pastor Of the Brethren Church. Many relatives and friends attended the services. The burial was postponed until a later date on account of the weather which prevails at the present. The roads have been drifted to the Fairland Cemetery, where burial was to take place. [Lebanon Daily News]

31 Jan 1925: Burial was made this morning at 10 o'clock of the late Mrs. Cora Michael from Arnold & Son's funeral parlors, South Ninth Street. Interment took place at Fairland Cemetery. Services were held Thursday afternoon. Because of the inclement weather, interment was postponed until today. Undertaker Arnold & Son were in charge of the arrangements. [Lebanon Daily News]
