27 July 1976: Samuel B. Bross, husband of the late Amy N. Houser Bross who died Nov. 20, 1975, died at the Mt. Hope Dunkard Brethren Home, this morning. He was 84. Formerly of Mt. Zion, he was a son of the late Uriah and Rebecca Balsbaugh Bross. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Dunkard Brethren Church, Frystown. He is survived by the following children: Charles U., Lebanon RD 1; Mary, wife of Jacob Meyer, Bernville Rd 1; Jacob H., Myerstown RD; Ann, wife of Dwayne Wise, Chambersburg RD 5; Eva, wife of Robert Stenger, Shady Grove, Pa., and Caleb, Myerstown RD 1; four step-children, Ada, wife of Charles U. Bross, Myerstown RD 1; Ruth, wife of Kenneth Wildeson, Chambersburg RD 1, and Naomi, wife of Ralph Patches, Lebanon RD 1; 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 21 Nov 1975: Amy N. Bross, wife of Samuel B. Bross, Mt. Hope Dunkard Brethren Home, Manheim, formerly of Mt. Zion, died last evening at the home after a lengthy illness. She was 74. Born in Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Harvey F. and Katie Kline Houser. She was a member of the Dunkard Brethren Church of Frystown. Her first husband, Silas B. Keller, died 49 years ago. In addition to her second husband she is survived by the following children: Ada, wife of Charles Bross, Lebanon RD 1; Ruth, wife of Kenneth Wildeson, Chambersburg RD 1; Naomi, wife of Ralph Patches, Lebanon RD 5; Jacob Bross, Lebanon RD 2; Anna, wife of Dwayne Wise, Chambersburg RD 5; Eva, wife of Robert Stenger, Shady Grove, Pa., and Caleb Bross, Myerstown; two step-children; 28 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Lena, wife of Landis Hitz, Lebanon RD 1, and a brother, Miles Houser, Lebanon RD 5.
