Obituary notes for Lydia Ann Wenger
2 Nov 1933: Mrs. Samuel K. Crouse, nee Wenger, died at her home north of Mount Aetna, Monday evening. Mrs. Crouse, who was aged 77 years, had been ill for some time. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Frystown. Surviving are her husband, Samuel K., and these children: Mrs. William Embich and John Crouse, of Myerstown; Mrs. Levi G. Meyer, of Fredericksburg; Mrs. Milton Layser, of Richland; Irvin Crouse and Mrs. William Dupple, of Myerstown; Ivan Crouse, of Shoeneck; Mrs. Monroe Good, of Denver, and David Crouse, of Richland. Thirty-five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Jonathan Wenger, of Florida, and Jacob Wenger, of Fontana, also survive. [Lebanon Semi-Weekly News]

6 Nov 1933: Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 for Mrs. Samuel K. Crouse from her home north of Mt. Aetna. After brief services the funeral moved to the Frystown meeting house, where further services were conducted by Rev. Henry Ziegler and Rev. Ira Gibble. Interment took place on the adjoining cemetery.
